She has studied fine arts at the University of Fine Arts Vienna (MA 2013), fine art photography at School Friedl Kubelka for Artistic Photography (2007-2008) as well as Art Education at the University of Applied Arts Vienna (BA 2021). Since 2017, she is PhD in Art candidate at Zentrum Fokus Forschung \/ University of Applied Arts Vienna, supervised by Prof. Barbara Putz-Plecko. Since 2009, Verena has been working for the Animated Film Studio at ZOOM Children&#8217;s Museum Vienna. Alongside, she has been active as art educator within institutional (Vienna Secession, mumok, MUSA) as well as unaffiliated contexts.
