27 April 2021<\/strong>, 19:00<\/strong>, via ZOOM: <\/strong><\/span>Lecture performance by Egle Oddo<\/strong> in conversation with Leonardo Caffo<\/strong>\u2014as an iteration of the research-based project Performative Habitats<\/strong> <\/a>(12.11.2020-30.09.2021). The artist Artist Egle Oddo and the philosopher Leonardo Caffo will stage a conversation about the implications between artistic and philosophical research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Registration is required:<\/strong> https:\/\/eu01web.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/u5Irdu-oqzwpHdZkJkIWVc-a2SpGU0K47Fli<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Lecture Performance: Egle Oddo<\/strong> in conversation with Leonardo Caffo<\/strong> Performative Habitats includes a series of exhibitions, actions, events, and lectures in Zagreb, Palermo, Rome, Vienna, Tunis, M\u00e4ntt\u00e4 and Helsinki, culminating with an installation en plein air at the XXV M\u00e4ntt\u00e4 Festival of Visual Arts, held in Finland in June 2021. The project is curated by Lori Adragna<\/strong> and includes several creative moments which will be rendered as a monographic publication produced in collaboration with postmediabooks publishing house, Milan. The project is supported by Italian Council edition 8, the Arts Promotion Centre Finland, and the Finnish Cultural Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Performative Habitats merges biology, botany, and natural sciences with the varied languages of artistic disciplines. At a historical moment that sees climate change among our primary emergencies, the artist aims to convert everyday practices and establish new production methods that are sustainable for the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 25 May<\/b><\/font><\/span> 2021<\/span><\/strong>: <\/span>Conversation between Lisl Ponger and William Kentridge. This performance, curated by Bronwyn Lace <\/strong>and Basak Senova<\/strong>, is the first collaboration of the programme with the Centre for the Less Good Idea<\/a><\/strong> and the Octopus Programme<\/a><\/strong>. It will take place simultaneously at William Kentridge’s studio in Johannesburg and the university gallery in the Heiligenkreuzer Hof, Vienna; it will be streamed and recorded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Centre for the Less Good Idea<\/strong>, based in Johannesburg, South Africa is founded by artist William Kentridge, the Centre aims to find the less good idea by creating and supporting experimental, collaborative and cross-disciplinary arts projects. Since its inception the Centre has hosted IN CONVERSATION<\/strong><\/a>, often leveraging off existing opportunities and identifying remarkable individuals and fellow artists\/thinkers in to spontaneous conversations with Kentridge.
